I grew up in London and trained as a draftswoman before travelling abroad. I worked in Africa, the US and Norway spending several years in each before moving to Scotland where I pursued my long held ambition to study photography.
I first channeled my creative flair into studying window dressing and design and followed it with evening classes in black & white photography. With this background I undertook a BA in Commercial Photography from Robert Gordons University, Aberdeen.
Living in Scotland has provided me with access to some breathtaking scenery - I like to create stories with my images which often display more of my abstract imagination.
I prefer experimenting with my compositions through the camera using filters rather than a lot of post production. I look to retain the gritty and grainy textures that provide a sense of movement and attitude - it reflects the mood and atmosphere of the many places I have visited across Scotland.
Along with solo exhibitions in galleries in Aberdeen, I have a gallery studio at home - take a look through my collections.
I hope you enjoy them..
